Specialmente poi quando sento, che &lt;em&gt;messis multa&lt;/em&gt;, e che &lt;em&gt;regione albae sunt ad messem&lt;/em&gt;, ma che dall’altro canto &lt;em&gt;operavii pauci&lt;/em&gt;, mi sorge nell’animo una specie d’impazienza di volare a porgere a’ compagni, che lo dimandano, ajuto per quanto colla divina grazia per me si potesse.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Ecco ciò che mi ha mosso, mio Reverendo Padre, ad esporle di nuovo questi miei ardenti voti, con supplicarla caldamente, come se di presente mi travoassi a’ piedi di Vostra Paternità, cui tengo in luogo di Dio benedetto, ad esauduirli, se il Signore le farà conoscere esser ciò di suo beneplacito, nel quale unicamente potrò in ogni caso trovare la vera consolazione.
