Dove di poi essendo giunto, e mandando di giorno in giorno d l’esecutione del proposito fatto, la vigilia dell’istesso San Saverio, quando stavo per uscir di casa, à i primi Vespri, mi fermò in casa, et in letto la 2.a Malatia che mi ci ha tenuto quattro mesi con pericolo due volte di perder la vita; Si che accorgendomi dell’espressa volontà di Dio e del Santo, non ho potuto far altro che confondermi della mia passata freddezza, e [radu]nare in questa con la maggiore efficacia possibile tutte le suppliche che haverei potuto far separatamente per ottenere questa gratia.
