<p><span>Fin dal tempo da che entrai nella Compagnia il Signore mi fece sentire il desiderio di servirlo nelle Missioni straniere.</span></p>
<p><span>Questo si è sempre conservato negli anni trascorsi. Ora vedendo l’occasione che si presenta de’ due Padri che sono per andare in esse si è più accresciuto, e mi hà eccitato a non perdere l’opportunità favorevole. Perciò ho scritto la presente a V<em>ostra</em> P<em>aternità</em> manifestandole quanto il Signore mi ispira, ed offerendomi per qualunque parte del Mondo ove V<em>ostra</em>P<em>aternità</em> creda che io possa impiegare le mie fatiche a maggior gloria di Dio e a bene delle anime.
