<p>Di questo io non dubbito, cioè nel partire da Napoli il quareesimalista P<em>adre</em> Alessandri gli diete una mia lettera affinchè l'avesse data a V<em>ostra</em> P<em>aternità</em> M<em>olto</em> R<em>everenda</em>, e Lui mi promise di adempiere a questo favore; perciò io sono quasi sicuro della carità di quel buon Padre, di non solo avergli data la mia inviatagli, ma di averla accompagnata con qualche buona parola a pro mio, mentre gli significava la ardente desiderio che ho per le Missioni, offerendomi a qualunque invito, e per qualunque parte del mondo l'opera mia fosse per maggior onore, e servizio di Dio.</p>
