<p>Sono due giorni, che ho dato notizia a V<em>ostra</em> Paternità del grave pericolo di malattia del P<em>adre</em> Pallavicini, ora le debbo annunziare che jeri a sera alle ore 9. incirca Iddio se lo chiamò agli eterni riposi, dopo aver ricevuti tutti i S<em>antissimi</em> Sacramenti, e gl'altri conforti di S<em>anta</em> Chiesa.</p>
<p>Ora mi trovo qui io solo, nuovo affatto in questo genere d'affari d'amministrazione, e perciò espongo a V<em>ostra</em> Paternità la mia posizione, perchè disponga di me secondocchè crederà meglio <em>in Domino</em>. Intanto ho dato ordine che tutto si continui a fare, massimamente riguardo ai lavori di campagna ecc. nella maniera adottata dal Defunto P<em>adre</em> Pallavicini, e che in veruna cosa si faccia il menomo cangiamento senza mia intelligenza, e quella dei Superiori, a cui debbo, e voglio perfettamente obbidire in tutte le cose. Ho voluto in presenza dei nostri due buoni Fratelli riconoscere il fondo di [Cussa], il quale attualmente è veramente miserabile da non potere pagare le spese già fatte, e da farsi di somma necessita. Per ultimo mi creda quale baciandole rispettosamente le mani ho il preggio d'attestarmi</p>
